- What is PVC-O Pipe?
PVC-O Pipe (Biaxial Oriented PVC Pipe) is a new type of pressure pipe produced by stretching traditional PVC-U pipes both axially and radially under a highly elastic state. The biaxial stretching process transforms the molecular chains from a linear structure to a mesh-like network structure, significantly enhancing its mechanical properties.

- Classification of PVC-O Pipe Materials
PVC-O pipes are classified into five grades based on their Minimum Required Strength (MRS): 315, 355, 400, 450, and 500. The MRS value is determined by the material formulation and the stretching process.
The higher class, higher material strength, higher nominal pressure. At same DN and PN, the higher pipe material class, higher hydraulic capacity, lower pipe head loss, lower cost.
